The holiday season is upon us which means we will be sharing time with our family and friends over the next few weeks to celebrate Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, and New Year's Eve. During this time of the year fire departments throughout the country tend to see an increase in fires and emergencies. Fires involving cooking materials, holiday lights, candles, and Christmas Trees can quickly turn the joy of the holiday season into sorrow. Medical emergencies, slip and fall injuries, and traffic accidents are also on the increase during the holiday season.

Over the next several weeks our website will be offering holiday season fire and safety tips. These tips will come as a collective effort of our department and several government health and safety agencies. The Willingboro Fire Department wants to do all it can to ensure everyone enjoys the fun and spirit of the holiday season.
