The department's Fire Safety Trailer was invited by the Delran Home Depot and the Delran Fire Department to participate in the store's annual Customer Appreciation Day. The event featured wood projects for the kids to build, public safety apparatus and equipment displays, and refreshments for all participants. Firefighters Bowe and Centrone set up the trailer to allow kids and parents to practice calling 911 and practice getting out of a smoke filled room by crawling low. Approximately 50-100 people participated in the Fire Safety Trailer display.
