2018 Youth Fire Academy Applications - NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE

The Willingboro Fire Department will be conducting its annual Youth Fire Academy Class from July 9th - 20th. The class will be open to students from ages 14-17 who may be interested in a fire service career. Students in the class will be given an opportunity to participate in various aspects of the fire service.

The class will be held at the temporary Willingboro Fire Department Headquarters, located in the Joseph A McGinley School at 40 Middlebury Ln . Class participants will be under the direction of Lieutenant Reed Costello and other highly experienced fire department personnel. The class will also visit several other emergency services agencies.

Interested students can register for the class in one of three ways:

1. Download the Youth Fire Academy Forms from this story

2. Request an application by clicking on the "Contact Us" tab of the department's website.

3. Request an application by sending an email to yfa@willingborofire.org.

All applicants will be required to submit a completed application (Forms 1, 2, 5, & 6) prior to the start of the academy. A background check will also be conducted on all applicants. The deadline for applications is June 16, 2018.
