Wind Chill Advisory Has Been Posted For Our Area - EXTENDED

The National Weather Service Has Issued a Wind Chill Advisory until 10 am Sunday, January 7th. Here is the advisory information:

WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST
SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. The cold wind chills
will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed
skin. Expect wind chills to range from 0 to 15 below zero.

* WHERE...Portions of central and southern New Jersey, northeast
Maryland and central, northern and southern Delaware.

* WHEN...Until 10 am EST Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 45 mph today will
cause areas of blowing and drifting snow with the existing snow
pack. In addition, minor tree damage is possible.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
