Car Drives Through Buckingham Park Home

A home in the Buckingham Park section of town was heavily damaged when a car drove through it on the morning of April 15th. Willingboro Fire and EMS responders were called to 9 Buckingham Drive at 8:33 am. 911 received several calls for a vehicle that drove through a house. Engine 1613, Rescue 1619, Ambulance 1691, and Virtua Paramedic Unit 31 all responded to find a house damaged by the vehicle.

The crews from 1613 and 1619 used special equipment to prevent further collapse of the home. The vehicle was on the side yard of the home and contained the driver and three children. There were several adults and kids inside the home at the time of the incident. The ambulance crew checked everyone in the home and car for injuries. Nobody was found to be injured from the accident.

The Willingboro Township Building Inspections Department responded to check the home. They determined it to be uninhabitable due to the heavy damage. The water service to the home was disconnected. The American Red Cross was called to the scene to provide temporary living assistance to the residents of the home. All units were clear from the scene at 9:44 am.
