| Willingboro Firefighters were called to assist the Beverly Fire Department at a house fire on Church Street. The kitchen fire occurred on Thursday, February 8th at 12:27 pm. Engine 1611 and the C Platoon responded, and arrived as the second company on scene.
Engine 1611 connected to a hydrant on Church Street and supplied additional water to Beverly Engine 1222. The crew dragged two 100' sections of 5" hose from the hydrant to the scene of the fire. The driver of Engine 1611, Firefighter O'Donnell, connected to the hydrant and provided the additional extra water needed for the fire.
Captain Gardner then led his crew to the inside of the home. They were tasked with checking the upper floors of the home for any hidden fire. After checking the second and third floors they reported that no additional fire was found in the home. Beverly's Firefighters had kept the fire confined to the kitchen of the home.
Willingboro Firefighters remained on scene until 1:41 pm. |
