Willingboro Fire And EMS Personnel Tackle Winter Storm

Willingboro's firefighters and EMTs braved the elements while providing service during the snowstorm on March 7th. The department's firefighters responded to over 80 incidents during the storm. Most of the incidents occurred during the time period of 2 - 9 pm. During this time period Chief of Department Burnett, Deputy Chief Clark, and Engines 1613, 1612, and 1611 were responding to incidents.

Most of the incidents involved down trees and power lines. Engine 1613's crew also extinguished a fully engulfed car fire on Nottingham Drive at the height of the storm. There were no injuries to civilians or emergency personnel during the storm. The department also handled numerous incidents until about mid-day on March 8th.
