Ribbon Cutting Held For New Fire And EMS Department Headquarters

A ribbon cutting was held for the department's new headquarters on December 18, 2019. The ceremony was attended by personnel from the Fire and EMS Department, Willingboro Township representatives, Remington & Vernick Engineers, and township residents. Several of the department's emergency apparatus served as the backdrop for the event.
Chief of Department Burnett gave a brief speech about the building, and with the assistance of Willingboro Mayor Martin Nock, Deputy Mayor Rebecca Perrone, Councilwoman Jacqeuline Jennings, Councilman Darvis Holley, Councilman Nathaniel Anderson, Deputy Township Manager Rich Brevogel, and Public Safety Director Kinamo Loman the ceremonial ribbon was cut. At the completion of the ceremony, those in attendance were able to take a brief tour of the facility.
A Grand Opening Ceremony will be held in the Spring 2020.
