Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Car Fire In Millbrook Park

The department's C Platoon was able to quickly extinguish a car fire on the morning of January 27th. The department was dispatched to Middleton Lane just after 10 am. Engine 1613 arrived in four minutes and found a vehicle on fire in the street. The crew went to work right away to extinguish the fire.

Firefighters E. O'Donnell and Carcasio used a 1 3/4" hoseline and hand tools during the extinguishment of the fire. The fire was able to be placed under control by Captain Friddell in 5 minutes. There were no injuries due to the fire, and the remains of the vehicle were towed from the incident. The crew was available in less than an hour.
