House Fire on Mullshire Lane |

Firefighters were alerted at 01:09 for a fire on the unit block of Mullshire Lane. Engine 1613 signed on responding and was quickly advised by Central Communications that someone was trapped on the second floor of the residents. Engine 1613 and Ladder 1615 arrived at 01:15 reporting heavy smoke showing. Engine 1613 crew stretched a 1-3/4" hose line and began a search of the residents along with extinguishing the fire. Firefighters located a victim on the second floor bedroom within minutes and removed the victim, turning the victim over to Ambulance 1692. The fire was quickly brought under control. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Burlington County Fire Marshal Office and NJ State Fire Marshal Office.
