Firefighters Rescue one occupant from house fire in Pennypacker Park

Willingboro Fire and EMS was dispatched to Pinafore lane for a reported house on fire. Engine 1613 arrived to find fire showing from a two story single family dwelling. Upon entering the structure Firefighters advanced an 1 3/4 inch hose line to the second floor extinguishing the fire. Firefighters located a victim on the second floor and advised 1613's officer. Firefighters removed the victim using a ground ladder from a second floor window, then turned the victim over to EMS and Paramedics. EMS determined that the patient needed to be flown to a burn center and requested to fly a helicopter. The condition of the patient is unknown at this time.
The cause of this fire is under investigation by the State of New Jersey Fire Marshal Office and the Burlington County Fire Marshalls Office.
