On December 23, 2021 Willingboro Fire and EMS was dispatched to Hinsdale Lane for a dwelling fire at 12:08pm. Engine 1613 officer noticed a large column of smoke in the air before leaving the ramp of the firehouse and requested the "all companies in service" to be transmitted. Upon arrival Engine 1613 reported a 2 story dwelling with heavy fire showing from the first floor. Engine 1613 crew made an aggressive interior attack with two 1-3/4 inch handlines to extinguish the fire. Additional mutual aid crews arrived on location and assisted Engine 1613’s crew.

There were no civilian injuries, however one firefighter suffered a minor injury. The cause of this fire is under investigation by the Burlington County Fire Marshal’s Office and the State of New Jersey Fire Marshal’s Office.

The American Red Cross was notified and responded to the scene to assist the family.
