New Career Firefighters Swearing-In

On Wednesday November 30th, two new career Firefighters were sworn in by Willingboro Township. Firefighters Michael Nardi and Eduardo Sierra have been hired as full time Firefighters.

FF Nardi started in the fire service in 2016 as volunteer firefighter in Mount Laurel and Evesham. In 2018, he obtained his EMT and rode the ambulance in Evesham as a volunteer and later Mount Laurel as a per diem EMT. In 2020, after working 15 years with the Mount Laurel Board of Education, he was selected off the civil service list by Burlington Township as one of the first six career firefighters to be hired.

FF Sierra served 5 years in the United States Air Force as a Fire Fighter and deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. He is a current member of multiple organizations (Freemason "JourneyMen Lodge #267" Jersey City, NJ, Sportbike club "Brothaz United SBC" Willingboro, NJ and Fraternity, " Chapter Kappa Upsilon Sigma" Phi Beta Sigma Inc. Willingboro, NJ.
