On the evening of August 21, 2025, the department hosted its 3rd Touch A Truck Event in the parking lot of the Kennedy Center. This event allowed kids of all ages to touch and sit in a variety of vehicles that they would normally not be able to see up close. The vehicles included fire apparatus from Willingboro Fire Department and Beverly City Fire Department, law enforcement SUVs/SWAT truck from Willingboro Police Department and Burlington County Sheriff's Office, dump trucks and front end loaders from Willingboro Department of Public Works, antique ambulance from the Willingboro Emergency Squad, Inc., tow truck from Flynn's Towing, Municipal Utility Authority vehicles, and Public Service Electric & Gas vehicles. Approximately 250 residents, visitors, and township officials attended the event. We would like to thank everyone who came out to support the event!
