Touch A Truck Event

On the evening of August 22, 2023, the department, in conjunction with Willingboro Township, held its first Touch A Truck Event at the parking lot of the Kennedy Center. This event allowed kids of all ages to touch and sit in a variety of vehicles that they would normally not be able to see up close. The vehicles included SUVs from law enforcement, emergency medical services, fire apparatus, tow trucks, a sewer vacuum truck, a front end loader, and a police SWAT vehicle. Approximately 150 residents, visitors, and township officials attended the event. We would like to thank the following companies and organizations for attending our event:

The department would also like to thank the Willingboro Recreation and Parks Department for the use of the parking lot at the Kennedy Center.
