Platoon A - Fire Incidents

On Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 1:01 pm Willingboro Fire and EMS was dispatched to Goodwin Lane for a reported house on fire. Engine 1613, Ladder 1615, and Ambulance 1692 arrived and reported heavy fire showing from the rear of the dwelling placing all companies in service. Multiple hand lines were placed in service to extinguish the fire. Due to the hot temperatures on Sunday additional personal were requested to the scene to assist with overhaul. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Burlington County Fire Marshal Office and The State of New Jersey Fire Marshal Office.
Shortly after restoring 1613, the department was dispatched at 5:33 pm for a building fire on Beverly-Rancocas Road for a report of smoke and fire coming from the building. Engine 1613 and Ladder 1615 arrived and found a small fire inside an cooking unit that was quickly extinguished. Burlington County Fire Marshal Office and New Jersey State Fire Marshal Office is investigating that incident as well.
Finally, around 8:00 pm, Engine 1613 responded to Fairmount Drive for a reported vehicle on fire. Engine 1613 arrived and reported a fire inside the engine compartment of the vehicle and quickly extinguished the fire. That fire is also under investigation by the Burlington County Fire Marshal Office.
