Great website. The best trained and manned fire department in Burlington County. Always was and always will be. I served under some great firefighters including Norm Cheeseman and Howard Gaskill. The fire company molded my life career and I will always be greatful.

I would just like to say that out of every website that I ever looked on for information this fire department gives the most it helped my children in my daycare center learn a lot about being safe I would like to just say thank you a lot.

Tripped over the website, brings back some terrific memories. I started in the fire company in 1972, seeing some of the old names in the guestbook is pretty cool.

I visited the site to view the motor vehicle accident involving a friend of our family and her children. I was very impressed with the action by those who first arrived on the scene as well as the other members of the fire and ems.

Active member 1960-1971 Nice looking guestbook. Was sorry to hear Norm Cheesman passed away. Served under him as an officer. Lot of fond memories of Willinboro Volunteer Fire Department and I want to congradulate the department on its up coming fiftieth anniversary next Jan, 2010. I also had the pleasure of being a member with my first cousin Gus Baumann, deceased who was in fire police and my Aunt Martha Baumann, deceased who was active in the Womens Auxiliary.

Hello y'all. I was around when Floyd Adams, Norm Cheeseman, and Frank Ferek were all passing through the Chief officer ranks. All of these guys were great friends. I see some familiar names here. My family and I have lived in Georgia since July 2000. I still work for th same company I had moved here for almost 9 years ago. Most of my exended family is still in the New Jersey area. So I will be by some time to visit. Be safe!

To all who serve, you do very good work. I had the previlege to serve from 1978 to 1984. Those were very good times in my life. Let us never forget Norm "THE DEP" Cheeseman. I'm truely sorry for your loss.

I just found your website! I served as a volunteer 1969-1981. Without a doubt this was the highlight of my working life. Only those who have been firefighters understand the camraderie and feelings of brotherhood. I was sorry to hear of the passing of Norm Cheesemen. He was my Chief for many years, great firefighter, great person! What ever happened to the 1953 750 gal Mack?

PS you sold the old 1616 Mack to a Fire Company here in Arkansas, I went to see it. It was still in great shape!

I used to live in Garfield North back in the 70's. Yesterday, my old friend and neighbor was in our old neighborhood and emailed us that our old home was completely gone, and there was only an empty lot. I googled our old address 44 Norwood Lane, and had my heart broke to see my childhood home completely gone. Thank God that everyone was safe and no one was hurt. I know it takes a lot of dedication not only of the fire and rescue squads but also their families. Great web site. Sure brings back lots of great memories of my younger days as a volunteer in the boro. Hello to all the guys and gals providing community service to my home town. From all my years as a member (12 I think), my lasting legacy is probably that I dragged Andrade in to join the department. So sorry to hear about the passing of Norm, he was quite a role model from my days as a Junior member who could not wait to be allowed to ride the apparatus through my years as a member and line Officer. Great site. I was a volunteer with your department from 1975-1988. Was stationed with all 3 stations. Was LT. at 163. Sorry to hear about Norm. He was Chief during my time there. I miss Willingboro and the great times I had with the department.
